Infants - Our Baby Bees!

Children ages 6 week to 18 months

Honey Bee Hollow accepts just 2 Baby Bees into the program. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere for your little one grow and develop, surrounded by love.

Infants take part in activities that help them develop physical, social and emotional skills. From tummy time, to sitting up, to crawling, taking their first steps and speaking first words, the children are encouraged and gently guided through all stages of development at their
own pace.

Stories, songs and lots of snuggles help the children develop critical language skills and build important bonds.

Toddlers - Our Busy Bees!

Children 18 months to the

September of their 4th birthday

Our Busy Bees are a small group of toddlers aged eighteen months through the September of their fourth year, when they head off to preschool. My focus is on providing a steady, nurturing space where these older children feel confident to explore the world around them while developing their independence in the calm, personalized environment of Honey Bee Hollow.
I place a primary focus on social and emotional development because I believe these skills are the essential building blocks for all the important learning that will come later. While children will eventually move on to more academic tasks, the ability to regulate their emotions, show empathy, and cooperate with others forms the foundation they need to truly succeed. I guide the Busy Bees as they navigate the complexities of sharing, taking turns, and expressing their feelings in a healthy way.
Alongside these social roots, I work with the children on the foundational basics they will need for preschool and kindergarten as we explore colors, shapes, letters, and numbers through hands-on play. For children who are ready for more academic study, I utilize "The Good and the Beautiful" curriculum to provide a gentle yet structured introduction to early learning. This work is done one-on-one, ensuring that each child is working at their own pace without any pressure. For those who are ready, I provide guidance in beginning to write their letters, numbers, and even their names, ensuring they feel capable and prepared.
